Malcolm Shabazz Hoover is a Bay Area Native circa 1970. Raised between Philadelphia and The Bay, He started writing poetry, fiction and video games at the age of 12, and studied writing under Linda Goss, Toni Bambara, Sonia Sanchez and bell hooks. Malcolm is the product of an activist family, and is the father to a 21 year old son, Aaron and a 10 year old daughter Laila. A former writer for the now defunct but seminal 4080 Hip Hop magazine, he blogs and rages against the machine at deepculture.blogspot.com. Now you know we have to cover the terrorist and white supremacists flag coming down off State capital grounds in South Carolina and the bones of the mighty white racist enslaver Nathan Bedford Forrest being kicked out a city park in Memphis, Tennessee.

 

The United States government and all the states in a contract with this corporate entity, should stop supporting, funding and promoting terrorism. Instead of saying "good job" to those who practiced Black self respect in their efforts to abolish monuments, symbols and dreams of white supremacy where they live, you know there have to be some other Black people throwing salt on the game. This seems very discourteous and promotes gossiping and arguing among black people who should be uniting in future efforts to root out and utterly destroy the system of racism upon which USA INC was founded. Perhaps if enough non-white people united instead of minimizing the efforts of others, they can focus and get in on the war against white supremacists instead of sitting on the sidelines like hecklers during a sporting match.

Today we will be speaking with activists associated with Rage Against the Ratchet & Clear The Airwaves Project. With disclosures from court proceedings involving Bill Cosby being made public with him admitting to obtaining drugs to have sex with young women, activists working to clean up the FCC regulated radio airwaves said if what Cosby did was wrong then why is that same society allowing date rape music to be pushed via the public airwaves?

The truth of the matter is that date rape drugs have been promoted in the United States and elsewhere since the early 70s with ads for Spanish Fly appearing in various print publications. Spanish Fly advertisements suggest that drug will make women hot and horny and ready to have sex. Why are corporations who are disassociated themselves from Cosby still sponsoring radio stations that promote all kinds of negative behavior included giving young women drugs to have sex with them. If you do not think date rape with drugs is not a problem among the masses but something rich people do, remember this 16 yr-old female who was drugged at a party, raped and pictures posted on social media?



16-year-old girl from Texas says that photos of her unconscious body went viral online after she was drugged and raped at a party with her fellow high schoolers. But the victim isn’t backing down. She’s speaking out about what happened to her, telling her story to local press and asking to be identified as Jada.[/caption] Do white people and their proxies who create, sponsor and allow the broadcast of rape music have any culpability in "urban crime"? Are corporations including USA INC engaging in social engineering through media? Should groups like NAN and NAACP get involved to lend support to the Clear The Airwaves Project?

 In other news, looks like South Carolina law makers finally approved the removal of the terrorist flag of the Confederacy whose veterans became the terrorist organization know as the Klu Klux Klan. The political battle to ban the flag from statehouse grounds was full of hi-jinks from elected racist suspects and white supremacists. In Tennessee where a white supremacist former mayor wants to slap the terrorist flag on the side of a mountain that once belonged to indigenous tribes before they were violently pushed out. in another part of the state, the bones of the founder of the terrorist organization KKK are being evicted from the City of Memphis. Former Confederate Civil War General Nathan Bedford Forrest, a vicious white supremacist and enslaver, will have to find a new resting place along with the bones of his white supremacist wife.

 Today our guest speaker is Dr. Samori Camara who will be a presenter at the conference. Black men are encouraged to participate in the conference as parents. We know that there is a myth of Black father being absent but the reality is that Black men above and beyond any other demographic assist in the upbringing of their children more than anyone and we want them to be aware of the resources available to help with the education of their children.

 In today's news.... French officials are in the Central African Republic to question children who say they were sexually abused by peacekeepers, a judicial source has told French news agency AFP. The French and the United Nations have been accused of covering crimes of so-called peace keepers and this is a perfect illustration of why Africa needs its own International Criminal Courts as proposed by Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabee last month.

 In other international news, Black Jews (Ethiopians) are saying that their children are facing racism and discrimination in Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Rehovot.

 

 Black Jews have also been engaged in their own Black Lives Matter protests against racist police violence which has not been getting much if any coverage in the United States while President Obama recently signed legislation to prevent nations from boycotting Israel over its race based Apartheid.

 Today I want to discuss the hatred towards gay men and women in the Black community. I do not think this is a widespread problem in the Black community as it is made out to be but I may be incorrect. Is it a problem? I had an exchange last night with individuals that sounded like Nazis discussing exterminating Black homosexuals.

 

 I want to make it perfectly clear that hunting down and harming homosexuals is not anything I would be a part of and would do everything to protect family members and people I have known most of my life from such harm. There are various reasons as to why someone would be engaged in homosexuality and what gives anyone the right to be their judge and executioner?

Clarence Thomas is not a clown but a dangerous tool of white supremacy

SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas said some incorrect things in a gay marriage ruling about whether or not the government or anyone can take away another person's dignity. I was further disgusted by the defense of Clarence Thomas by those who want to either defend him because they are either against gay marriage, offended that he was called a "clown in blackface", or they think that Black people must be defended no matter what kind of injustice they are engaged in. This is a case to look at and see if people are using logic or being illogical in analyzing what Thomas said about human dignity. You can read what Chief Justice Roberts had to say in his dissent on marriage equality.

 

Speaking of same sex marriage, I am still perplexed on why some Black people feel a need to weigh in on the debate. Marriage Equality is a done deal and besides, if Black people had real political power then their opinions might mean something but since they do not control any institutions in relation to who can and can not get married, debating it is a distraction for Black people in my opinion.

 

 The racist white supremacists are intent on practicing visual terrorism and one in particular is ready to slap the Confederate/Klan terrorist flag on the side of a mountain in Tennessee. In related news, the defacing of white supremacist monuments continued to be defaced with graffiti declaring "Black Lives Matter" and labeling those honored with the "Murderer" tag.

There is renewed focus on the school buildings that millions of children attend that are named after vile white supremacists. Abolitionists Marx Parthas asked people to imagine Jewish children going to schools named after Nazis. That is hard to imagine because Jews seem to have too much self respect to allow their children to attend such schools, which do not exist, and certainly would never tolerate their tax dollars to be allowed to support such buildings. However, they do not seem to have problem with these schools named after white supremacists in the USA.
