Tonight I spoke with the mother of Mark Henderson who was 19yrs old when he was gunned down on August 31, 2012 in Woodbury, Minnesota by three different Woodbury police officers who shot the young man 12 times. Henderson was one of several of victims of a hostage situation at the Red Roof Inn when he broke free and tried to run to safety when police killed him. The three cops have not been charged and all attempts by this grieving mother to get help have been ignored.

After we play the interview with Tawana Henderson, Danette Chavis of New York will join us about the nation wide problem of police violence. She has a petition asking US Attorney General Eric Holder to do something on a national level to address this epidemic of police violence and these killer cops.

Petition: NATIONAL ACTION AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY!
