Today is Memorial Day which was started as a remembrance of Civil War vets to thank them for their sacrifice to end slavery but what was not known at that time was that the Civil War did not abolish slavery in the USA. As people remember fallen vets and thank them for their service, very few are aware that over 700,000 vets are currently victims of prison slavery.
