Pam of Trojan Horse Press and one of the authors of the book "The Beauty Con Game" joins the program to discuss the pressure put on Gabby Douglas to conform to a false beauty standard for Black women concerning their hair and the concerns that this beautiful melonated teenager will be sexualized by corporate media.
It is a fact that the majority of Black people are not informed on either issue and see nothing wrong with the mutilation of their natural hair or the misogynation of our youth.

I talked to the attorney litigating the class-action lawsuit against New York City for its racist Stop & Frisk program. Attorney Darius Charney from the Center for Constitutional Rights explained the case and what victims should do.
