Black Talk Radio News & Views w/ Scotty Reid covers national and global social/political news with a focus on the Black community and how it is impacted by political and social policies. The program sometimes features guests who are policy analyst, social activist, politicians, public officials and journalists.
Scotty Reid has produced and hosted over 1,000 episodes of online radio since 2007. He currently hosts and produces Black Talk Radio News, Views & Music (2008) and Black Teen Empowerment Radio (2009). When it comes to music, Scotty believes he has a great ear for independent Hip-Hop and R&B music. He is always looking to feature new music from those artists being ignored by the recording industry because they remain true to their craft.
These programs have been ranked among the most listened to on the platform Blog Talk Radio and among the top Blog Talk Radio iTunes downloads.
He is currently the President of the Black Talk Media Project, a North Carolina non-profit new media organization. He served as a communications specialist for six years in the U.S. Army before discharging honorably.
